Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen listed Brookline mansion for $39.5 million in 2019

The former couple built a custom 12,112 square foot limestone estate on land they purchased for $4.5 million in 2013.

Former couple Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen listed their custom-built mansion in Brookline, Massachusetts, for $39.5 million in August 2019, according to the Times of India. The property was located in the Chestnut Hill area near The Country Club golf course.

The pair originally purchased more than five acres of land from Pine Manor College in 2013 for $4.5 million. They used the plot to build a 12,112 square foot limestone residence featuring a private spa, a yoga studio, a wine cellar, and a separate barn.

Gisele Bündchen previously described the barn as her sanctuary during a video tour of the property. The estate gained public attention through a 2018 home tour with Vogue and Brady's documentary series, Tom vs. Time.

The asking price for the mansion was reduced to $33.9 million in October 2019, but the property did not find a buyer. The listing agent cited the coronavirus pandemic as a factor affecting luxury home sales when the property was withdrawn from the market in May 2020.

The estate later returned as an off-market listing. During the same period, Brady joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 after 20 seasons with the New England Patriots.
