Cast and crew celebrate OM: Chapter 1 – Udhiram audio launch in Chennai
Actors Dhanush, Mammootty, Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela attended the musical event for the upcoming film.
Thousands of fans gathered in Chennai for the grand audio launch of OM: Chapter 1 – Udhiram: The Blood Wood, according to Moneycontrol. The event featured actors Dhanush, Mammootty, Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela, alongside director Rajkumar Periasamy, producer Shraddha Agarwal, and music composer Sai Abhyankkar.
Music composer Sai Abhyankkar received praise for the film's sound, with songs such as 'Alaakaa Loova', 'Veezha Veera' and the recently released 'Senjudare' gaining attention. Abhyankkar noted that Sreeleela, who plays the character Roja, used the role to reinvent herself through her acting.
Sreeleela expressed her admiration for Mammootty and Sai Pallavi, noting that Pallavi had cut her hair for the film. She also recalled that Dhanush was among the first prominent actors to reach out to her during her Telugu debut.
Sai Pallavi spoke about working with director Rajkumar Periasamy, stating she had previously expressed a wish to be part of his next project. She described Periasamy as a director who writes layered women characters.
Producer Shraddha Agarwal said the film is the biggest project under the RTake banner. She credited Dhanush and Periasamy for their roles in the film's journey.
The film, which features Naseeruddin Shah and Indrans in pivotal roles, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 20, 2026.
