Bihar STET 2026 exam rescheduled to November 22

The Bihar School Examination Board postponed the test after the government declared a public holiday for Chitragupta Puja and Bhai Dooj.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has rescheduled the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026 to November 22, 2026, according to Moneycontrol. The examination was originally scheduled to take place on November 11.

The decision follows a notification from the General Administration Department declaring November 11 a public holiday for Chitragupta Puja and Bhai Dooj. As a result, the STET examination has been shifted by 11 days.

Candidates can download their revised admit cards from the official website, stetregistration.cbrt.co.in, starting November 12. The board has advised candidates to check their examination dates and other details carefully and to carry the revised admit card to the centre.

The board also announced a change for the School Librarian Eligibility Examination 2026. This examination, which was previously scheduled to begin on November 22, will now commence on November 23, 2026, due to unavoidable reasons.
