The total amount of Rs 13.36 lakh was paid for Class X students in government schools across the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency.
Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar has paid the SSC examination fees for 10,959 Class X students studying in government schools, according to the Deccan Chronicle.
The payment, totalling Rs 13.36 lakh, covers students across the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency. BJP leaders handed over cheques for the fees to the Collectors of Karimnagar, Jagtial, Rajanna-Sircilla, Siddipet and Hanamkonda districts on Saturday.
The student breakdown includes 4,356 from Karimnagar, 3,920 from Rajanna-Sircilla, 1,133 from Siddipet, 1,087 from Jagtial and 463 from Hanamkonda.
The initiative supports students in government schools within these five districts.
