Odisha is free from Naxalism, says CM Mohan Charan Majhi

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi stated that the end of Maoist violence has paved the way for industrial growth and investment.

Odisha has become free from Naxalism due to state government measures and continuous police operations, according to The New Indian Express.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi made these remarks on Saturday while addressing National Unity Day celebrations at the OSAP 7th Battalion parade ground in Bhubaneswar.

Majhi said the improved security situation has fostered a calm atmosphere that supports business growth and industrialisation in the state.

He noted that districts previously affected by Maoist violence have seen significant changes, as residents no longer face the insecurity that once limited their movement.

The Chief Minister attributed these achievements to the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

While paying tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Majhi urged citizens to move beyond differences in religion, caste, and language to develop the state.
