Prakash Raj shares video from flight to Delhi for Ramlila Maidan march

The actor-activist posted a video on social media while travelling to join a protest against the Special Intensive Revision.

Actor-activist Prakash Raj shared a video on his social media channels on the morning of November 1 while flying from Bengaluru to New Delhi. According to ANI, the video showed Raj using gestures to indicate he was travelling to join a march at Ramlila Maidan.

Raj, who is a visible face in the agitation against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), had also posted a video a day earlier. In that video, he called for a peaceful protest march in Delhi to demand the removal of Gyanesh Kumar and the scrapping of the SIR.

The actor-activist stated that the movement aims to save the Constitution, democracy, and voting rights. He urged people to join the march in large numbers to reclaim their right to vote.

On Sunday, heavy security was implemented in the national capital as the Congress-led INDIA bloc held a rally at Ramlila Maidan. Simultaneously, the BJP organised a counter-march in West Delhi.

Nearly 10,000 police and paramilitary personnel were deployed across Central and New Delhi to manage the two events. The deployment included Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), CRPF, and the Rapid Action Force (RAF).
