Kiren Rijiju mocks Congress over AI image of Ramlila Maidan rally
The Union Minister alleged that the Congress party used a fake AI-generated photo to show a packed crowd at the Delhi rally.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju mocked the Congress party on X on Sunday, alleging that it used a fake AI-generated photograph to show a full crowd at the INDIA bloc rally held at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on November 1.
According to Moneycontrol, Rijiju stated that the fake narrative team of the Congress party did not even prepare the AI photo properly to show the ground was full.
BJP National Spokesperson CR Kesavan shared a video of the event on X, which showed empty chairs and empty space at the venue. Kesavan described the rally as an embarrassing flop show and a fiasco.
The INDIA bloc had claimed that 10 lakh people would attend the rally. However, BJP MP Sambit Patra alleged that 40 per cent of the Ramlila Maidan was vacant.
Patra claimed that between 3:30 pm and 4 pm, around 5,000 to 7,000 chairs were empty out of the 28,000 chairs at the venue.
The rally included leaders such as Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Mamata Banerjee, and Akhilesh Yadav. Rahul Gandhi accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of facilitating alleged vote theft.
