Amitabh Bachchan greets fans from protective glass box at Jalsa

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan greeted hundreds of fans from inside a transparent protective glass box outside his Juhu residence, Jalsa, on Sunday, according to reports by Hindustan Times and ANI.
The actor, who has a tradition of meeting fans every Sunday, was seen waving from the enclosure. His son, Abhishek Bachchan, accompanied him and stood behind his father to keep a watchful eye on the crowd while security personnel were also present.
The additional security measure follows an investigation by the Mumbai Police into a bomb threat email allegedly targeting the actor's bungalow. The threatening email was reportedly received by a school in the Bandra-Kurla Complex area in October.
Separately, Bachchan recently shared updates regarding his health on social media. He stated on his Tumblr account that he needed more rest to adjust and recover.
In a post on X, the actor said he had been advised by doctors to take a few days off to rest and recover, making him unable to write at the moment.
