The cyclonic storm is expected to intensify into a severe cyclonic storm by Monday morning, November 2. It is predicted to cross the South Andhra Pradesh coast between Nellore and Narsapur around midnight on November 2.

The Collector has urged people to stay indoors during lightning, keep livestock in secure locations, and avoid standing near electric poles, trees, or large signboards. Residents in low-lying areas must remain vigilant, and an emergency helpline has been provided at 9866756825.

A yellow alert has been issued for Jangaon, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, and Medchal-Malkajgiri. Thunderstorms with lightning and winds of 30-40 kmph are possible across various other districts in the state.
