Yogi Adityanath to launch 69 projects in Gonda district

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister will inaugurate or lay foundation stones for development works worth over Rs 520 crore.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate or lay foundation stones for 69 development projects worth more than Rs 520 crore in the Mankapur and Gaura assembly constituencies of Gonda district on Monday, according to ANI.

The Chief Minister stated that the state government aims to increase public facilities and improve the lives of people at the grassroots level. During the event, approval letters and cheques will also be handed out to people receiving various public welfare schemes.

Yogi Adityanath noted that the 'double-engine' government is dedicated to ensuring that welfare programmes bring prosperity to those at the lowest levels of society. He said every project is intended to expand public amenities.

The Chief Minister also discussed the economic impact of the Deepotsav festival in Shri Ayodhya Dham. He claimed the celebrations create new ways for potters, labourers, and small-scale traders to earn a living and conduct business.

Yogi Adityanath criticised previous governments before 2017, alleging they lacked the vision to link Ayodhya's cultural significance with economic growth for local workers and farmers. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guidance for the current transformation through the festival.
