K. Priya assumes office as Tirunelveli Corporation Commissioner
The new Commissioner entered the Indian Administrative Service on October 16 before taking up her current role in Tirunelveli.
K. Priya assumed office as the new Tirunelveli Corporation Commissioner on Tuesday, according to The Hindu.
Ms. Priya entered the Indian Administrative Service on October 16 and was subsequently posted as the Commissioner of Tirunelveli Corporation.
Her previous roles include serving as Joint Director of Tamil Nadu e-Governance and Joint Commissioner of Land Administration.
She also held positions as District Revenue Officer in Chengalpattu and State Health Project Manager of the National Health Mission.
Earlier in her career, she served as Joint Commissioner of Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation and held management roles at Arasu Cable Television Corporation.
Ms. Priya began her career in 2009 as Deputy Collector (Training) in Dharmapuri district and later served as Revenue Divisional Officer in Cheyyar.
