Odisha to give Rs 30,000 each to 15,000 meritorious students
The Higher Education Department has opened online applications for financial assistance to purchase laptops under the Godabarisha Vidyarthi Protsahana Yojana scheme.
The Odisha government will provide financial assistance of Rs 30,000 each to 15,000 meritorious students who have passed the Class XII examination, according to Kalinga TV.
The Higher Education Department announced that the funds are intended to help students purchase laptops under the Godabarisha Vidyarthi Protsahana Yojana (LAPTOP DBT) scheme for the 2025 and 2026 academic years.
Eligible students from all categories, including General, SC, ST, OBC/SEBC, and EBC, can apply for the assistance.
The department has invited students to submit their applications through an online process.
Interested candidates must register and complete their submissions on or before 19.11.2026.
