Ruhullah is holding a rally with the blessings of our people, says Ram Madhav

BJP national vice-president Ram Madhav stated that the National Conference is visibly divided following the resignation of Srinagar MP Aga Ruhullah.

BJP national vice-president Ram Madhav said on Tuesday that National Conference (NC) MP Aga Ruhullah was conducting a rally with the support of the people. Speaking at a press conference in Jammu, Madhav commented on Ruhullah's announcement to resign from the NC and his Lok Sabha seat during a rally in Budgam on Tuesday.

The event in Budgam coincided with the 26th death anniversary of Ruhullah's father, Aga Syed Mehdi, who was assassinated in 2000, according to The New Indian Express.

Madhav, who was involved in forming the PDP-BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir during 2015-2016, said he would not comment on the matter but noted that the NC appears visibly divided. He stated that the BJP has no involvement in the internal affairs of the NC and that its leaders are fighting among themselves.

The BJP leader, who met with senior party members at the Trikuta Nagar headquarters during a visit to Jammu, clarified that statements made by BJP legislators do not represent the party's official position.

While some BJP leaders have suggested the Omar Abdullah-led government could collapse due to dissent following a recent Cabinet expansion, Madhav declined to speculate on future political developments. He said the situation would have to unfold before conclusions are drawn.
