Mysuru Railway division to hold Jeevan Pramaan 5.0 camps at five locations
The South Western Railway initiative helps pensioners submit digital life certificates through face or biometric authentication between November 1 and November 30.
The South Western Railway (SWR) Mysuru division will host special Digital Life Certificate camps at five locations to assist railway and family pensioners, according to The Hindu.
The Nationwide Digital Life Certificate (Jeevan Pramaan) 5.0 Campaign began on November 1 and will run until November 30. The initiative allows pensioners to use face or biometric authentication to submit certificates digitally, reducing the need for physical visits to offices or banks.
A camp will take place at the Railway Kalyana Mantapa in Mysuru on November 6. On November 12, camps will be held at the SMR offices in Hassan and Shivamogga railway stations.
Further camps are scheduled for November 18 at the SSE/Permanent Way Office near Arsikere Railway Station and the SMR office at Harihar Railway Station. All sessions will run from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Pensioners attending the camps should carry their original Aadhaar Card, a copy of their Pension Payment Order (PPO), bank account details or passbook linked to the PPO, and an Aadhaar-linked mobile phone. A valid photo identity card may also be required for verification.
Welfare Inspectors and other staff will be present to help with the submission process. For assistance, pensioners can call 0821-2866230, 0821-2866231, or 9731667611.
