Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel opens natural farming centre in Valsad

The Prabha Natural Farming Produce Sales Centre aims to improve market access for farmers and provide high-quality natural goods to consumers.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the Prabha Natural Farming Produce Sales Centre in Valsad on November 3, according to The News Mill.

The facility is designed to promote natural farming and improve marketing arrangements for naturally grown agricultural products. It serves as a model centre offering fruits, vegetables, grains, and honey.

The centre also sells essential natural farming inputs, such as Beejamrut, Ghan Jeevamrut, Jeevamrut, and Gomutra, for farmers and consumers. The initiative intends to increase public awareness of naturally farmed products.

Finance, Urban Development and Urban Housing Minister Kanubhai Desai and Member of Parliament and Lok Sabha Whip Dhavalbhai Patel attended the event. The Chief Minister inspected the centre and received information regarding the available products.

The project is part of a plan to establish 10 kiosks in the Valsad district. The objective is to create a supply chain that streamlines production to direct consumer sales and ensures fair prices for farmers.
