Alia Bhatt wears Anavila saree and Rimple & Harpreet blouse for Ramayana premiere
The actor attended the Mumbai screening of the film on November 3 ahead of its theatrical release on November 5.
Actor Alia Bhatt attended a special screening of the film ‘Ramayana’ in Mumbai on November 3. According to Mathrubhumi, she wore a green chambray linen saree from Anavila, which is priced at Rs 14,500 on the label's website.
The ensemble included a bespoke raw-silver blouse by designers Rimple & Harpreet. Stylist Rhea Kapoor stated on Instagram that the blouse was designed by Rah Jewellery. Bhatt completed the look with earrings by Sunita Kapoor and shoes from Aprajita Toor.
The screening took place before the film's November 5 theatrical release and included cast members and families. Bhatt arrived with Neetu Kapoor, while Ravi Dubey attended with his wife, Sargun Mehta.
Produced by Namit Malhotra, ‘Ramayana’ is a two-part adaptation of the Hindu epic with a reported budget of Rs 4,000 crore. The first part arrives in theatres on November 5, with the second part expected in 2027.
The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Ravi Dubey, and Sunny Deol. Other cast members include Lara Dutta, Kajal Aggarwal, Sheeba Chaddha, and Rakul Preet Singh.
Sacnilk reports that advance bookings in India have reached Rs 73.40 crore over five show dates. Of this amount, Rs 32.41 crore was recorded on the premiere day, with 18.67 lakh tickets sold across 60,124 shows.
