Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel inaugurates natural farming sales centre in Valsad

The new Prabha Natural Farming Produce Sales Centre aims to provide farmers with better market access and direct sales to consumers.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the ‘Prabha Natural Farming Produce Sales Centre’ in Valsad on Tuesday, according to ANI. The initiative seeks to encourage natural farming practices and increase the availability of naturally grown agricultural goods for the public.

Finance, Urban Development and Urban Housing Minister Kanubhai Desai and Member of Parliament and Lok Sabha Whip Dhavalbhai Patel were also present at the event. During the inauguration, the Chief Minister examined the facility and was briefed on the various products offered at the shop.

The model centre stocks fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, and honey. It also sells essential natural farming inputs, such as Beejamrut, Ghan Jeevamrut, Jeevamrut, and Gomutra, to both consumers and farmers.

The facility is designed to assist farmers by improving their ability to reach markets and ensuring they receive equitable prices for their crops. It also aims to educate the public on the benefits of using naturally farmed products.

This centre is one of 10 planned kiosks for the Valsad district. The project intends to build a reliable supply chain that connects the production stage directly to consumer sales.
