SRMIST to open SRMJEE applications from November 4
The SRM Institute of Science and Technology will accept applications for various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes starting this November.
The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) in Chennai will open applications for the SRM Joint Entrance Examination (SRMJEE) on November 4, according to The Hindu.
Applications for Engineering and Technology, Architecture, Management, Liberal Arts and Business Studies, Law, Medicine and Health Sciences, Hotel Management, and Agricultural Sciences programmes will be available from 2 p.m. on the university website.
The SRMJEE for undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses will be conducted at more than 160 centres across the country. For the first phase of B.Tech, M.Tech, and M.Tech (integrated) programmes, the exam is scheduled for April 17 and 18, 2027, with an application deadline of April 2, 2027.
A second phase for engineering will be held on June 19 and 20, 2027, with the application deadline on June 4, 2027. The SRM Law Entrance Test will take place via on-demand centre-based tests between January 5, 2027, and June 30, 2027, with applications closing on June 25, 2027.
Management entrance tests will be held online between January 11, 2027, and June 30, 2027, with a June 25 deadline. Health Sciences undergraduate and postgraduate exams will be held in two phases on April 9-10 and June 11-12, 2027.
A press release stated that SRMJEE toppers will receive the Founder’s Scholarship, providing a 100% waiver of tuition and hostel fees. Students may also receive merit scholarships offering 25% to 100% tuition fee waivers based on ranks and other criteria.
