Bethesda reveals official title Sentinel for The Elder Scrolls VI
The studio released a new teaser on November 3 as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations.
Bethesda Game Studios has released a new teaser for The Elder Scrolls VI, confirming the official title as The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel, according to The Hindu.
The teaser was unveiled on November 3 during the studio's 40th anniversary celebrations. It marks the first fresh promotional footage for the game since its initial announcement at E3 2018.
Bethesda director Todd Howard introduced the reveal, stating that the anniversary was the right moment to announce the name. The brief footage shows a scroll emerging from desert sands before the title Sentinel appears.
While Sentinel is a prominent city in the Hammerfell province within the Elder Scrolls universe, Bethesda has not officially confirmed the game's setting. The teaser does not include gameplay footage or substantial story details.
The studio has not yet announced a release date, launch window, or confirmed platforms for the title. The project has remained largely under wraps since its first announcement in June 2018.
The upcoming game follows The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which was released in 2011.
