Naruvi Hospitals uses American-made robotic technology to reduce patient recovery time from three months to one month, according to The Hindu.

Naruvi Hospitals is using the American-made CORI robot to perform joint replacement surgeries, which helps patients recover faster, according to The Hindu.

Addressing presspersons in Vellore on Wednesday, Naruvi Hospitals Chairman G.V. Sampath said that while traditional joint replacement surgery recovery takes three months, the CORI robot technology allows patients to recover in one month.

Mr. Sampath stated that the technology also results in significantly minimal pain for patients. He noted that the hospital's surgeries are cost-effective for people from Vellore, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Salem, Tiruvannamalai, Chittoor, Tirupati, Kadapa, and Madanapalle.

The hospital also treats international patients from the USA, Australia, Bangladesh, and West Asian countries. Mr. Sampath said these patients return home in good health following successful surgeries.

Following the completion of 1,000 joint replacement procedures, the hospital intends to establish a fertility centre and a bone marrow transplant centre for blood cancer. These facilities are intended to meet international standards.

Anitha Sampath, vice chairperson of Naruvi Hospitals, Nithin Sampath, General Manager, and Dr. Vernon Lee, Head of the Department of Joint Replacement Surgery, were also present.
