Andhra Pradesh releases notification for 2,721 teacher recruitment posts
Online applications for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Recruitment Test-2026 will begin on November 11, according to the Deccan Chronicle.
The Andhra Pradesh school education department has issued a detailed notification for the recruitment of 2,721 teachers under the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Recruitment Test-2026 (APTRT-2026).
According to the Deccan Chronicle, the recruitment process, also known as DSC-2026, will allow eligible candidates to submit applications online starting November 11.
The vacancies include 2,111 regular positions for secondary grade teachers and school assistants. There are also 350 special education teacher roles, consisting of 150 school assistants and 200 secondary grade teachers.
The remaining 260 posts are for various societies and cover roles such as physical education teachers, physical directors, trained graduate teachers, post graduate teachers, and principals.
The recruitment examinations will be held via Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The notification includes specific details regarding the examination schedule, syllabus, and subject-wise vacancies across different districts.
