More than 550 exhibitors and 51,000 professionals from 120 countries are expected at the event.

The 18th edition of the Poultry India Expo will be held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad from November 25 to 27, according to The Hindu. The event is organised by the Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (IPEMA) under Poultry India.

The exhibition is expected to attract over 550 exhibitors and more than 51,000 industry professionals representing approximately 120 countries. It will serve as a platform for breeders, veterinarians, feed producers, and technology companies to discuss ecosystem developments.

Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying and Panchayati Raj S. P. Singh Baghel will inaugurate the expo.

He will also open Poultry Knowledge Day on November 24 at HICC–Novotel, where experts will discuss topics including nutrition, artificial intelligence, and farm automation.

IPEMA–Poultry India president Uday Singh Bayas said the event acts as a gathering that unites various industry stakeholders. He noted that the expo has grown tenfold since 2007, expanding from 3,500 sq. metres to 35,000 sq. metres across seven halls.

The exhibition will display various technologies, including tools for hatchery management, automated feeding, climate-controlled housing, and egg processing. It will also feature advancements in waste management and veterinary diagnostics.

India is the world's second-largest egg producer. According to Basic Animal Husbandry Statistics 2025, the country produced 149.11 billion eggs in 2024-25, with Telangana contributing 12.98 per cent of that total.
