Harry Kane extends Bayern Munich contract until 2029

The England captain signed a two-year extension following his recent Ballon d'Or win.

England captain Harry Kane has signed a contract extension with Bayern Munich that will keep him at the German club until June 30, 2029, according to News18 and The Tribune.

The 33-year-old striker, who joined the Bundesliga side from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, has scored 156 goals in 161 appearances for the club.

Kane recently won the Ballon d'Or, becoming the first Englishman to receive the honour since 2001 and the first Bayern Munich player to do so since 1981.

The striker expressed his satisfaction with the decision, stating that he feels settled in Munich and enjoys working with manager Vincent Kompany.

He noted that his family is happy in the city and that he is eager to pursue further titles with the team.

Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund said the club is delighted to secure the future of the player, whom he described as a leader and a team player.
