Telangana to host Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 in Hyderabad
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to finalise arrangements for the December event by November 15.
The Telangana government is preparing to host the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 at the Young India Skills University campus in Bharat Future City from December 7 to 9, according to Urban Acres. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy reviewed the preparations during a Cabinet meeting on Thursday and instructed officials to invite global investors, companies, and chief ministers from various states.
The summit will include the Telangana Climate Conclave on December 8, which The Hindu reported will involve nearly 200 scientists, experts, and farmers. This conclave aims to discuss biodiversity, drinking water security, animal husbandry, and agricultural patterns capable of withstanding droughts. The Chief Minister requested discussions on climate change and El Nino to develop action plans for environmental challenges.
Planned components include the Raksha Expo for defence and aerospace, India Joy 2026 for animation and gaming, and a Startup Pavilion featuring 136 ventures. Other events include the Pharma and Life Sciences Expo, an Education Expo, and an Agriculture and Allied Sectors Expo. The summit will also feature a Tourism showcase and a Climate Conclave.
Officials have been told to appoint a dedicated liaison officer for every delegate and ensure registration and entry passes are issued at the airport. Security officers will also be appointed to maintain robust arrangements. Of the 575 organisations invited to the event, 49 had expressed interest in participating.
The Telangana Innovation Startup Challenge is currently accepting applications for technology solutions in healthcare, agriculture, and public infrastructure until November 20. The government aims to complete a comprehensive arrangements plan by November 15.
