Tamil Nadu CM Vijay and Trisha attend wedding reception in Chennai
The actors were seen together at the reception of YS Anil Reddy's daughter on Thursday.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and actor Trisha Krishnan attended the wedding reception of YS Anil Reddy's daughter in Chennai on Thursday, November 5. The event, held at The Leela Palace, was for the newlyweds, Shreya and Ujjwal, according to reports by The Indian Express and India Today.
Vijay, who was the guest of honour, was accompanied by his mother, Shobha Chandrashekhar. He wore a brown suit with a white shirt, while Trisha was dressed in a pink saree. Videos of the two walking to the stage to greet the couple have been shared on social media.
The reception included several prominent figures, including former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who attended with his wife, YS Bharati. Vijay was seen interacting and posing for photographs with Jagan Mohan Reddy. Other attendees included BRS working president KT Rama Rao and his wife Shailima, as well as industrialist Gautam Adani.
Vijay and Trisha, who worked together in the film Leo, have appeared at public events together previously. They were seen at a wedding in Chennai in March and at the Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom in September during an event for actor Ajith Kumar. Trisha also attended Vijay's swearing-in ceremony as Chief Minister in May.
