Seven fire tenders were rushed to the site to extinguish the blaze at the shop, identified as Som Hardware.
Abohar Fire Officer Barinder Singh told ANI that the fire broke out at Lakkar Mandi and suggested that a short circuit might be the cause.
Firefighting operations are currently underway to bring the flames under control.
