Actor Josh Duhamel and Bobcat donate utility vehicle to Los Angeles firefighters
The Bobcat UV34XL utility vehicle will support the Los Angeles Fire Department's first full-time, paid wildland hand crew.
Actor and director Josh Duhamel partnered with Bobcat Company to provide a new Bobcat UV34XL utility vehicle to Los Angeles firefighters in June 2025, according to the Times of India.
Duhamel presented the keys to the vehicle during a surprise visit to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Station 88 as part of the Bobcat 'Work Worth Doing' campaign.
The equipment is intended to assist the department's first full-time, paid wildland hand crew in mitigating and controlling wildfires.
Captain and Public Information Officer Adam VanGerpen said the donation would help the department strengthen wildfire response efforts and improve the efficiency of the hand crew.
Duhamel stated that firefighters deserve the best tools and noted that supporting those who protect others is work worth doing.
Bobcat also announced it will give a part of the money earned from selling a limited-edition hat to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.
