Karimnagar police inspector selected for Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak-2026
Inspector Kasarla Shashidhar was recognised for his work in a 2019 murder investigation that led to life sentences for 15 accused.
Kasarla Shashidhar, an inspector in the Karimnagar Police Commissionerate, has been selected for the Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak-2026, according to The Hindu.
The award recognises his work and service in criminal investigation. Mr. Shashidhar conducted an investigation using technical evidence in a murder case registered at the Karimnagar Rural Police Station in 2019.
The investigation resulted in a local court sentencing 15 accused to life imprisonment.
Karimnagar Police Commissioner Gaush Alam felicitated Mr. Shashidhar at the Police Commissionerate office in Karimnagar on Saturday for his selection for the award.
