Artist Vikram Goyal focuses on secondary characters of the Ramayana
Artist Vikram Goyal explores themes of sacrifice and loyalty through the lens of demigods and mortals in the Ramayana.
Artist Vikram Goyal is focusing on the secondary characters within the world of the Ramayana.
While the story is traditionally known for its star characters, Goyal has trained his eyes on other figures.
These include the demigod vulture Jatayu, the heroic eagle Garuda, and the monkey physician Sushena.
Goyal felt that these characters were central to the story despite not being widely noticed.
He aims to highlight the themes of sacrifice and loyalty embodied by these figures.
