Commandant V.V.N. Prasanna Kumar stated that three teams from the 4th Battalion in Arakkonam, Tamil Nadu, were moved to assist, while the rest were positioned from the 10th Battalion headquarters in Kondapavuluru, Krishna district.
The teams are stationed in several locations, including Prakasam, Nellore, Markapuram, Krishna, Guntur, Bapatla, West Godavari, and Konaseema districts in Andhra Pradesh, as well as Mulugu and Khammam in Telangana.
NDRF personnel will work with the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and local administration to conduct rescue, evacuation, and medical assistance efforts in vulnerable and low-lying areas.
