Asia Healthcare Holdings invests ₹100 crore in AINU Odisha expansion

The specialty hospital chain plans to reach a network of 10 facilities by the end of FY27.

Asia Healthcare Holdings (AHH) has committed ₹100 crore to expand the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU), including a new hospital in Bhubaneswar, according to reports by Urban Acres and BusinessLine.

The Bhubaneswar facility marks AINU's entry into Odisha and serves as the chain's eighth hospital in India. This latest funding brings AHH's total investment in the specialty hospital chain to ₹750 crore.

The new hospital will offer various medical services, including kidney transplantation, dialysis, and care for the urinary system. It also provides expertise in paediatric urology, uro-oncology, andrology, and reconstructive urology.

The infrastructure features a 12-station haemodialysis unit, three operation theatres, 3D laparoscopy, advanced laser systems, video urodynamics, and an in-house 32-slice CT scanner.

AHH Executive Director Vishal Bali said the group has added 300 beds, improved robotic technology, and strengthened clinical talent since acquiring AINU. He noted that the Odisha expansion is part of a strategy to increase the group's presence in eastern India.

The company aims to have a network of 10 hospitals by the end of FY27 to increase its national reach.
