Karnataka State Forest Service officer Raju G Y has also been appointed to the Indian Forest Service by the President of India.
The Central Government has assigned additional departmental responsibilities to 2011-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Amit Khatri, according to NorthBlockSouthBlock.
Under a recent administrative order, Amit Khatri, a Haryana cadre officer, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Special Secretary for the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department in Haryana.
Khatri will discharge these new responsibilities alongside his existing assignments in the state administration.
In a separate development, the President of India has approved the appointment of Karnataka State Forest Service officer Raju G Y to the Indian Forest Service (IFS).
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) issued a notification formalising the appointment of Raju G Y against the 2021 Select List.
Raju G Y has been allocated the Karnataka cadre following his induction into the national cadre of forest administration.
