Telangana is an enabler for industry and business, says Bhatti Vikramarka

The Deputy Chief Minister highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships as the state aims to become a $3-trillion economy by 2047.

Telangana is driving industrial growth through investment-friendly policies and world-class infrastructure, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

According to The Hindu, Vikramarka was addressing the FICCI @100 celebrations and the Telangana Deep-Tech Leadership Summit.

The Deputy Chief Minister stated that the government is investing in research and industrial development while placing emphasis on public-private partnerships to reach a $3-trillion economy by 2047.

Vikramarka noted that Hyderabad brings together software, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, aerospace, and engineering, adding that the opportunity lies in getting these capabilities to work together.

He called for a practical DeepTech blueprint, suggesting the examination of barriers that slow down research and development. He also suggested shared testing facilities, clearer certification routes, and designed pilot purchases.

IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu said the government is developing infrastructure for research, innovation, and skill development in areas including Artificial Intelligence, quantum technology, robotics, cybersecurity, semiconductors, and advanced manufacturing.
