Thunderstorms forecast in 13 Telangana districts on November 5
The India Meteorological Department predicts lightning and gusty winds across several districts as cyclone Murasu weakens into a deep depression.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast for 13 districts in Telangana for Thursday, November 5, according to The Hindu.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are likely to occur at isolated places in Karimanagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpaly, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubnagar, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon and Rangareddy.
The IMD stated that cyclone Murasu has weakened into a deep depression and is expected to weaken further into a depression by the evening of Wednesday, November 4.
In Hyderabad and its surrounding areas, the sky is expected to be partly cloudy for the next 24 hours. The bulletin said light rain or thundershowers with gusty winds may occur in parts of the city during the afternoon or evening.
The maximum and minimum temperatures in Hyderabad are likely to be around 31C and 22C respectively.
