Alia Bhatt shares behind-the-scenes photos of daughter Raha and Ranbir Kapoor from Ramayana sets
Actor Alia Bhatt celebrated the release of Ramayana by sharing photos of Ranbir Kapoor and their daughter Raha on the film set.
Actor Alia Bhatt shared behind-the-scenes photos of her husband Ranbir Kapoor and their daughter Raha Kapoor from the sets of the film Ramayana, according to the Hindustan Times. The images show Kapoor in costume as Lord Rama, with Raha Kapoor present on the set looking at a large set piece resembling a forest.
In a social media post, Bhatt praised Kapoor for his dedication to the film, stating he poured everything into the project. She also expressed pride in everyone who contributed to the experience, noting that some stories are bigger than everyone involved.
The film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is an adaptation of Valmiki's epic and draws from other sources like Tulsidas' Ramcharitmanas. It features a cast including Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi.
Reported to have a budget of ₹4000 crore, Ramayana is one of the most expensive film productions globally. The production uses VFX from the studio DNEG and has partnered with Sony Pictures for a global release across 70,000 screens.
Ranbir Kapoor confirmed that Raha Kapoor has a cameo in the film, appearing in a sequence alongside Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Ravie Dubey. The film was released in theatres on November 5.
