Volkswagen releases first teaser for Virtus facelift model

The teaser reveals updated exterior design elements including new LED headlamps and alloy wheels for the popular sedan.

Volkswagen has released the first teaser for the facelift model of its Virtus sedan, according to Prabhat Khabar. The teaser provides a glimpse of changes to the car's exterior, although the overall shape and design remain similar to the previous version.

The front of the vehicle features new LED headlamps with multiple lighting elements and a redesigned LED DRL. A thin light strip connects the headlamps above the grille, which includes an illuminated Volkswagen logo and the existing GT badge. The lower bumper has also been made more sporty with new air intakes and a sharper design.

The side profile maintains the long bonnet, three-box design, and sloping roofline, but the teaser shows new alloy wheels with a different spoke design. The GT variant is expected to feature these new wheels to enhance its sporty look.

At the rear, the facelift will include sharper, more angular LED taillamps with horizontal and arrow-like lighting patterns. While the rear bumper design has changed, the boot and overall rear design remain largely the same and still feature the GT badge.

Volkswagen has not provided details regarding changes to the interior or engine. While the current model includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 8-inch digital display, and ventilated front seats, the facelift may include a larger digital instrument cluster and updated infotainment interface.

It is expected that the new model could include improved ambient lighting and new parking features. There is also speculation that the new Virtus may feature improved ADAS, though Volkswagen has not provided official confirmation regarding these specific updates.
