ESI Africa 2026 magazine examines infrastructure financing challenges
The publication explores how power, water and transport projects can move from ambition to implementation across the continent.
The ESI Africa Magazine 2026 examines the mechanics required to move infrastructure priorities towards implementation, according to a report by Tripura Star News. The publication addresses how power, water and transport projects must compete for capital while navigating different regulatory environments and market structures.
Created by VUKA Group through ESI Africa, the magazine includes seven chapters covering energy, water and transportation. It aims to provide a continent-wide view of the policies, investments and technologies influencing development, representing every African country at least once.
The magazine's 'Investment Mechanics' chapter considers how projects are financed, while the 'Across the Map' chapter examines reforms and constraints in various markets. The content suggests that investment decisions must be linked to individual country realities rather than a single continental model.
Two on-demand webinars are also available, covering long-term financial modelling for municipal utility reform and network modelling for electricity distribution expansion. Additionally, the 'Innovation in Action' chapter looks at technologies that can be integrated into existing systems.
The next Enlit Africa event is scheduled for 11 to 13 May 2027 at the CTICC in Cape Town, South Africa. Water Security Africa will be held at the same location and during the same period.
