IIM-Bengaluru team trains SITAM students in Vizianagaram

The Lean Agile Programme aims to help business management students acquire systematic marketing and business skills through hybrid learning.

A team from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bengaluru provided training to business management students at Satya Institute of Technology and Management (SITAM) in Vizianagaram on Thursday, according to The Hindu.

The training session was led by Saideep Rathanam, Praba Narayan, and Akshay, a representative of the Mizuho India Japan Study Center. It was part of the Lean Agile Programme, which is designed to help students learn marketing and business skills.

SITAM College Director Majji Sasibghusana Rao said the programme was created in 2017 to improve collaboration between the manufacturing sector and educational institutions. He noted that the six-month hybrid learning programme allows students to take online courses, attend seminars, and engage with industry experts.

Rao thanked the IIM team for supporting SITAM students in understanding changes and emerging courses within the business and marketing fields. SITAM Principal D.V. Ramamurthy was also present during the event.
