Sridhar Babu raises dispute with Vamshi Krishna to TPCC chief

Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu reportedly contacted Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Mahesh Kumar Goud regarding a rift with Peddapalli MP G Vamshi Krishna.

Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu has taken up a dispute with Peddapalli Congress MP G Vamshi Krishna with the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president, according to Telangana Today.

The Minister spoke to TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud via telephone on Thursday. A senior leader from Gandhi Bhavan stated that while the contents of the conversation are unknown, the Minister is unhappy about the issue.

The tension follows a programme held by the Kaka Venkat Swamy Charitable Trust at a government school in Koyyur. Vamshi Krishna objected to the Minister's decision to suspend a tribal woman leader and various others who participated in the event.

The MP claimed the suspensions occurred without any prior notice being issued to the individuals. In a letter dated November 2, Vamshi Krishna also made sarcastic remarks regarding the Minister's absence from a Congress event at New Delhi's Ramleela Grounds on Sunday.

In the same letter, the Peddapalli MP requested that no action be taken against Peddapalli MLA Vijayaramana Rao and Ramagundam MLA Makhan Singh Thakur. The letter has since been circulated on social media.

The incident occurs despite instructions from the TPCC Disciplinary Committee for MLAs and MPs to avoid discussing internal party matters in public.
