Apni Party president vows to engage Government to protect people's rights

Mohd Altaf Bukhari said the party will work to address the growing uncertainty and insecurity faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Apni Party president Mohd Altaf Bukhari has pledged to engage with the Government of India to safeguard the rights and interests of the people, according to the Daily Excelsior.

Addressing a provincial-level meeting of the party in Srinagar on November 5, Bukhari stated that Jammu and Kashmir is experiencing a period of serious political uncertainty.

Bukhari said the elected government's misgovernance and failures have led to a sense of insecurity and anxiety among the public.

He claimed that traditional political parties, particularly the ruling party, have failed to provide relief and hope to the people.

The Apni Party president said the party has chosen not to be a silent spectator and will instead work to raise pressing concerns and grievances.

Senior party leaders, including Javaid Mustafa Mir and Mohd Syed Akhoon, were present at the meeting.
