Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reviewed relief and restoration measures on Thursday. He directed officials to prioritise the restoration of electricity, road repairs, and drinking water supply. Naidu announced he would personally visit the affected areas on Friday to assess the situation.

Officials informed the Chief Minister that it would take 48 to 72 hours to accurately assess crop damage once floodwaters recede. As of Thursday, 97.1 per cent of telecom services had been restored, with 30,518 of 31,428 telecom towers operational.

The State Emergency Operations Centre reported on Thursday that rainfall had weakened considerably and largely stopped in most parts of the state. While the cyclone impact has subsided, people in low-lying areas are advised to remain cautious and follow district administration instructions.
