Aukera opens two new jewellery stores in Chennai and Bengaluru
The lab grown diamond brand expanded its retail presence to 37 stores across eight Indian cities.
Lab grown diamond jewellery brand Aukera, also known as The Solitaire Expert, has opened two new retail outlets in Anna Nagar, Chennai, and Indiranagar, Bengaluru, according to The Tribune and ANI.
The new locations mark the brand's 36th and 37th stores in India. The Chennai outlet is the company's second in the city, while the Bengaluru store is its twelfth in its home city.
The brand grew from 13 stores in June 2025 to 37 stores today. During this 18-month period, Aukera expanded into Chennai, Pune, Visakhapatnam, Lucknow, and Dehradun.
This expansion follows a US$15 million Series B funding round led by Peak XV Partners in 2025. Additionally, the company secured ₹90 crore in July 2026 through a round led by Alteria Capital.
Aukera Co-Founder and CEO Lisa Mukhedkar said the brand chooses locations where customers can see how diamonds perform in light. Co-Founder Kumar Saurabh stated that the growth indicates a demand for certified quality and transparency.
The brand's diamonds carry IGI reports, with signature solitaires featuring GemEx or GCAL 8X light performance grading. Every piece is supported by a buy-back and exchange policy.
