Authorities have deployed the Anti-Terrorist Squad and bomb disposal teams to the Vasundhara police outpost following the Friday night blast.
A blast at the Vasundhara police outpost in Ghaziabad on Friday night left one person injured, according to The New Indian Express. The explosion, which occurred under the Indirapuram police station, damaged window panes at the site.
A food delivery person present at the outpost sustained minor injuries during the incident. The intensity and motive of the blast remain unclear, though police indicated the investigation will include a possible terrorist angle.
Police are verifying a social media post by an organisation called Tehrik Ul Mujahideen, which has claimed responsibility for the blast. A senior police officer said that all angles are being investigated, although an official statement is still awaited.
Forensic teams have collected samples from the site and sent them to the Agra lab for investigation. Police said they are also checking CCTV cameras to identify the accused.
