PM Package, migrant and Jammu-based employees in the Kashmir Division can take leave on November 7 and November 9, 2026.
The Jammu and Kashmir government has approved two days of special casual leave for certain employees working in the Kashmir Division to celebrate Diwali in Jammu, according to reports by Daily Excelsior and Kashmir Observer.
The leave applies to staff members under the PM Package, migrant employees, and Jammu-based employees posted across various government departments.
As per a government order from the General Administration Department, the sanctioned leave will be on November 7, 2026, which is a Saturday, and November 9, 2026, which is a Monday.
The order was issued by the Civil Secretariat to allow these specific employees to travel to Jammu for the festival.
