Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reviewed preparations for the international summit involving representatives from 59 countries.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh will host the 31st CII Partnership Summit-2026 in Visakhapatnam on November 12 and 13, according to The New Indian Express. The two-day event, themed ‘Navigating New World Order: Trade, Technology, Trust’, aims to position the state as a hub for global investments, international trade, and technological partnerships.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the arrangements, proposed discussions, and draft declarations with officials and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Director General Chandrajit Banerjee on Saturday. The summit is expected to draw approximately 1,250 participants, including 15 foreign ministers, 350 foreign delegates, 900 Indian delegates, and over 40 international speakers.
The event will feature around 400 business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) meetings. Expected attendees include representatives from countries such as Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, Nepal, Egypt, and Cambodia, alongside officials from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the World Food Programme, and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
Naidu said the summit should bring together policymakers, investors, industries, educational institutions, and startups to foster business and technological partnerships. He stated the primary objective should be connecting Andhra Pradesh industries with global markets and providing new opportunities for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The Chief Minister suggested showcasing the state's 'Speed of Doing Business' and the payment of industrial incentives through escrow accounts. He also stressed the need to promote investment opportunities in the semiconductor and green energy sectors.
