Odisha digital creators showcase state heritage at Bharat Parv 2026 in Gujarat

A delegation of ten influencers from Odisha documented regional crafts and dances at the festival held near the Statue of Unity.

A delegation of ten digital content creators and social media influencers from Odisha arrived at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, for Bharat Parv 2026, according to Pragativadi. The creators participated in the event to showcase the state's heritage through digital storytelling.

The fortnight-long festival, organised by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with Gujarat Tourism, runs from November 1 to 15, 2026. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the event as part of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations.

The initiative was conceived under the aegis of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Bhubaneswar, to celebrate the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' ethos. The creators documented various traditions, including Pattachitra scroll paintings and Cuttack silver filigree, at the One District One Product (ODOP) pavilion.

The delegation also visited the Ekta Prakash Parv, a night-time celebration featuring laser-and-light choreography in the Narmada valley. They captured how modern visual arts and sustainable technology narrate the legacy of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The festival included cultural performances such as Kuchipudi, Assamese Bihu, Purulia Chhau, and Gujarati Garba. The creators also highlighted Odisha's Sambalpuri dance during the event's various cultural programmes.
