Vijay was 18 to 20 years old, recalls KC Bokadia

Veteran filmmaker KC Bokadia shared an anecdote about Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay attending a film muhurat with his father.

Veteran filmmaker KC Bokadia recently recalled an anecdote regarding Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay during an interview with ANI. Bokadia remembered Vijay accompanying his father, filmmaker S.

A. Chandrasekhar, to the muhurat of the film 'Aaj Ka Arjun'.

Bokadia stated that Vijay must have been around 18 to 20 years old at that time. The film 'Aaj Ka Arjun', released in 1990, featured Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Prada in lead roles.

Bokadia also discussed his professional association with Chandrasekhar regarding the Hindi film 'Kudrat Ka Kanoon'. He noted that Chandrasekhar directed the film after Bokadia insisted, despite the filmmaker's initial hesitation.

The filmmaker described Chandrasekhar as having honesty and humility when he expressed that he had been unsuccessful as a director in Hindi cinema. The resulting film went on to run successfully in theatres, according to Bokadia.

Vijay, who is currently active in politics, previously established himself as an actor following the cinematic legacy of his father.
