Owaisi urges Telangana government to increase outsourcing employees' salaries

AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi cited rising inflation and living expenses in a representation to the state government.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi has requested the Telangana government to raise the monthly wages of outsourcing staff. These employees work across various state departments, institutions, corporations, and societies.

According to Telangana Today, Owaisi noted that the previous administration had increased remuneration by more than 30 per cent via G.O.Ms.No.60 on June 11, 2021.

Owaisi stated that the cost of living has risen significantly since that last update, leaving current pay levels inadequate for meeting basic family needs.

The AIMIM leader asked the government to provide a substantial increase in monthly pay, noting the financial struggles and dedicated service of the workers.

Owaisi also informed the government that some outsourcing staff in government societies are not getting paid on time. He urged officials to issue instructions to all departments and institutions to ensure salaries are paid monthly without delay.
