Seth Rogen and wife's charity reaches 4.4 million people in 2025

Hilarity for Charity expanded its outreach through caregiver grants, support groups, and brain health education following the diagnosis of Lauren Miller Rogen's mother.

Seth Rogen and his wife, Lauren Miller Rogen, founded the organisation Hilarity for Charity (HFC) after Lauren's mother, Adele Miller, was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s. According to a report by the Times of India, the charity reached 4.4 million people through its various programmes, events, and online community by 2025.

The organisation provides assistance to families affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia. In 2025, the Caregiver Respite Grant Programme awarded 200 grants, which accounted for 26,000 hours of care. The programme also provided over 550,000 hours of relief for in-home care.

HFC also distributed 18 emergency grants totalling more than $43,000 to families facing financial difficulties. This support followed events such as the Los Angeles wildfires and flooding in North Carolina. The charity also runs weekly support groups, with approximately 500 caregivers participating in 37 groups in 2025.

The charity's online learning platform, HFCUniverse, reached over 14,000 users by the end of 2025, which the organisation stated was a 3,000 per cent increase since 2023. The platform provides free education on brain health and Alzheimer’s to high school and college students.

The Youth Movement Against Alzheimer’s (YMAA) network grew to 100 chapters globally by the end of the year. Additionally, 77 young people were certified as Peer Brain Health Leaders, while more than 2,000 students engaged with the chapter network.
