Two students from the pharmacy and engineering faculties participated in a record-breaking group karate chop activity held in Chennai.
Students from Gujarat-based Parul University received official recognition from the Guinness World Records for participating in a karate event in Chennai, according to the Daily Excelsior.
The event was organised by the World Karate Masters Association (WKMA) to break the record for the most number of people performing karate chops together.
Samarpit Dubey, from the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Neelakantam Durga Sai Naga Darahas Naidu, from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, were the two students involved in the group activity.
The achievement allowed the students to contribute to a global record through a sport that requires consistent effort, patience, and dedication.
